Message from the Desk of Hawaii Wing 7th Cadet Training Group Commander - C/ Capt Jose-Misael Nicanor

My name is C/Capt Jose-Misael Hutchinson Nicanor, and I have just completed a fulfilling tenure of nearly two years as Cadet Commander of the West Oahu Composite Squadron. I've been a part of the Civil Air Patrol for seven years and have devoted my time to serving others. My primary focus in the organization is on the education and training of cadets. I am passionate about cultivating a sense of responsibility, discipline, and leadership in the young cadets I'm entrusted with. 

During my time in the CAP, I have had the honor of staffing three encampments, which has given me the opportunity to help develop other cadets' leadership skills. Moreover, I am proud to say that I am a graduate of the Pacific Region Cadet Leadership School class of 2023, where I gained invaluable knowledge and experience. 

I am committed to continuing my service to the CAP and to uphold its core values of integrity, excellence, volunteer service, and respect.
