Cadet Packing List 

The cadet packing list is designed to support 1st-time cadets attending summer encampment. Unless otherwise stated, the list below will help cadets with what items are required for participating in the Hawaii Wing Summer Encampment. Should you need assistance purchasing or finding these items, please consult with your squadron commander or squadron deputy commander of cadets before purchasing items through Vanguard.

Below are the listed items with the hyperlinks to those specific uniform items through Vanguard. Please take note that due to overwhelming orders across the country, Vanguard may take longer than 10 days to process and ship items. Please also take note locations on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam - Hawaii can be made or purchased. A valid base access ID is required to access the military stores and make purchases. A CAP ID may be used to purchase items at the Hickam AFB military clothing store. Still, it is highly recommended that members please go with an authorized Military ID member to purchase their items. Check for store hours by visiting their particular websites. 

Note for Cadets: Please label all uniform items using a sharpie (first and last initial with CAP ID) before Encampment.

Note for Parents: Once your cadet arrives at the check-in location for encampment, all phones and electronics will be confiscated. They will be instructed to let you know they have arrived safely before the phone is collected and returned at the end of the training activity.
